Rudbeckia laciniata, commonly known as cutleaf coneflower, is a tall, clump-forming perennial
native to moist meadows, streambanks, and open woodlands across eastern North America. It
features deeply lobed, pinnately divided leaves and produces bright yellow, daisy-like flowers
with drooping petals and prominent greenish-yellow central cones from midsummer to early fall.
This showy wildflower attracts a wide variety of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and
beetles, and adds height and color to native plant gardens and rain gardens
